DESIGNERS INTENTION

This modern home situated along the Columbia river of Revelstoke deserves a landscape that compliments its size and position in the mountains. Our design focused on expanding the stone and black trim from the house onto the driveway creating a larger more inviting entrance to the front door. with a spark of colour, a little lighting, and simplicity I believe this planting design adds character and drama.

JOE SMITH

“Adrian did an excellent job capturing our vision and illustrating it for us to make the decisions necessary to finish off our new home.”

 DESIGNERS INTENTION

This was a special project where in collaboration with Sirocco landscapes we worked with the City of Ashcroft BC, to revitalize their heritage park. They originally wanted a new pond, but after studying the property and its users I suggested a variety of features that would engage citizens to utilize this public space more often. We established this with a dandelion water feature, open green space, a bouldering sculpture, murals, and patios for multi-functional events.

SPENCER DENSCH, Sirocco Landscapes

“Working with Adrian Giacca over the past 8 years has allowed me as a landscape contractor the capacity to build more beautiful projects. His ability to listen to my clients, represent my company, and illustrate designs that are constructible has ensured my company is profitable and a leader in our region.”

DESIGNERS INTENTION

I am honoured to have had the opportunity to work with my hometown of Uxbridge to design their accessible playground. This project changed my perspective on how many public spaces are inaccessible to those with disabilities. This park captures the community spirit of Uxbridge and the lions club with its celebration of natural spaces, inclusive features, and attractive choices of materials.

ROBERT ARMITAGE, Secretary of the Uxbridge Lions Club

“ We reached out to Adrian because of his history of designing successful public spaces for our community in Uxbridge. With his help in designing this playground, we successfully raised over $500,000 and received approval from the municipality and the public’s support. We are proud to have already received a Durham Region Accessibility Award prior to construction.”
